Formulated by professional fiber artists for washing & protecting all of your woolens and fine washables, Meadows Wool Wash is made from the purest herbal essential oils, combined with the gentlest soaps & detergents. Meadows Wool Wash leaves your finest woolens soft, clean, and lustrous. It also provides natural herbal moth repellency without harsh chemicals.

DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE

Dissolve 1 teaspoon MEADOWS WOOL WASH in one gallon of warm water. (double the water and MEADOWS WOOL WASH for larger items)
Immerse items to be washed and leave to soak for 20 minutes.
Squeeze the wool or garment gently, so that the water flows through, but DO NOT AGITATE.
Pour the water off or remove garment from water and gently squeeze or Spin out DO NOT WRING OUT.
Rinse in luke warm water.
Squeeze or spin out excess water & rinse again if necessary.
Place on a towel to dry.
Always check the care label on a purchased garment. Many times a manufacturer will suggest dry cleaning when washing would be better for the garment. Nearly all woolen garments are hand washable with proper care.

These are the soaps I've been using on all my handspuns and fine washables..
I love the lightness of the soap and the scents-- they smell like what they're labeled, but it isn't overwhelming.
I think my favorite at the moment is cedar, but French Lavender is a crowd pleaser too.
